Gabby had a very good puppy career with many class wins she was Best Puppy in Breed Bournemouth under breed specialist Brenda Groves (Jimbren) and also Best Puppy in Breed at Birmingham City under all-rounder Mr. Peter Jolley. Gabby also went on to win the Puppy Working Group under Derek Smith. Gabby was a 'Mancunian' Pup of the Year qualifier 2002.

Scarlett was not shown much as a puppy due to other committments and my house move from Sussex to Shropshire. Ironically she was only shown a handful of times and at her first show at the Trent Boxer Club she was Best Puppy in Show (after winning Minor Puppy Bitch - her house mate Merribox Get a Grip won Puppy bitch that day) under Mrs A. Manduell-Carkeek (South Africa) who judged bitches and Arthur Aisnworth who judged dogs. Scarlett was also Best Puppy in Breed at Crufts 2004 under Margaret Buck who judged bitches and Wendy Barrow who judged the males.
